The young girl in the middle with her head covered is the bride-to-be. She is sharing a meal the night before with her friends and afterwards there will be dancing. The groom-to-be (whom she has never saw, only heard to be "cute") is spending his time with his male friends. First they have a disco dance on the beach with a live DJ and then they have the traditional "stick dancing".
